PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

 

This is a short diploma course (160 credit hours) designed for professionals who intends to progress in their security career, specifically, national security, critical infrastructure security, industrial security, and protective industry. It is a self-directed or life-long learning program proportional of an executive course. It is open to any baccalaureate degree holder (with MA or PhD is an advantage). Non- baccalaureate degree holders are allowed so long as he/she has been in a supervisory or managerial position (related to security) for at least five years (show proof required).

 

PROGRAM RATIONALE

 

Terrorism is a global phenomenon that needs to be understood and analyzed in order to come up with appropriate counter measures. The security industry carries the greatest burden to counter terrorism, thus the need for public support, training and education, for an overall prevention and control mechanism against this social disease - terrorism.

This is a short diploma course (160 credit hours) prepared for professionals (non-exclusive of criminology graduates) who planned to study and have a career involving crime analysis, intelligence analysis, forensic-related professions, law enforcement, paralegal, and or any criminal justice practice.
